How to prepare for a session in the normobaric chamber
Preparation for the normobaric chamber session is simple and does not require special medical actions, but it is worth following a few tips.
Before the session:
- Wear light clothing and comfortable shoes – preferably cotton clothes, without metal elements (e.g., belts, clips).
- Avoid stimulants – do not smoke, drink alcohol, or consume strong coffee at least 2 hours before the session.
- Eat a light meal – it is not recommended to come either on an empty stomach or after a heavy meal.
- Stay hydrated – drink a glass of water before entering the chamber.
- Familiarize yourself with the statement of no contraindications for the normobaric chamber session at the Galeria Spa reception.
During the session:
- Breathe calmly – through your nose or mouth, as deeply as possible.
- Relax – you can read a book, listen to music, or meditate.
- Feeling of ear blockage – this is normal and can be relieved by swallowing saliva or yawning.
- Report any discomfort – if you feel headache, ear pressure, or shortness of breath, inform the staff via intercom.
After the session:
- Remain seated for a moment – do not stand up abruptly.
- Hydrate your body – drink water to support detoxification.
- Avoid strenuous physical activity for 30–60 minutes.
